California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
Aha! takes data protection and information security very seriously. This commitment carries through in our efforts to meet the requirements of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). The CCPA is a law that enhances the personal information protection rights of all California residents.
For California residents seeking to exercise their CCPA rights
The CCPA provides California residents the right to request details about the personal information that companies collect. Aha! provides details on the personal information that we collect in the “California Privacy Rights” section of our Privacy Policy. This section also provides instructions on how California residents can exercise their CCPA rights.
For Aha! customers checking if Aha! meets CCPA requirements
Aha! is a “service provider” under the CCPA. That means that we only use your personal information for the specific reason that you entrust it to us. We do not use it for any other purpose and do not sell it. The CCPA requires these limitations to be included in your contract. We have updated the Aha! Terms of Service so that there is no need for a separate CCPA amendment or addendum. Section 3.3 of our Terms of Service includes the required language.
Our commitment to data protection
We are committed to meeting the requirements of the CCPA and protecting your data. Our Privacy Policy provides detailed information about how we collect and process your personal information. We also maintain specific security features that are built directly into the Aha! application to ensure that customer data is kept safe.
If you have any other questions regarding how Aha! complies with the CCPA, please contact us by email at [email protected].
